Set in Pittsburgh in 1997, Radio Golf follows Harmon Wilks as he attempts to become the city's first black mayor. As he makes his run for office by planning to develop the Hill District, the cultural heart of black Pittsburgh, the neighborhood in which he grew up begins to groan under the weight of his ambition. Struggling to forge his own path, Harmond learns that all that glitters is not gold in August Wilson's timely look at race and American politics.
