WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Playwright Luis Valdez takes aim at Hollywood with I Don't Have to Show You No Stinking Badges. This provocative tale of Buddy and Connie, two actors who have carved out a comfortable living in Los Angeles playing bit parts--maids, gardeners, outlaws, and other Latino stereotypes. When their son drops out of Harvard Law School to become an actor and to challenge the stereotypes in Tinseltown, the family's way of life turns topsy-turvy.
All performances are in English except for the following, which are bilingual: April 26 (Friday), April 28 (Sunday), May 4 (Saturday), May 11 (Saturday), and May 17 (Friday.)
