Howard Richardson and William Berney's haunting romance is based on a classic folk ballad. In it, an elfin witch boy falls in love with Barbara Allen, a free-spirited woman in a poor village in the Smoky Mountains. He is given human form to woo and marry her - but only as long as she remains true to him. An outstanding Broadway and London hit, this perennial favorite is a colorful, dark fantasy. The first and final Sunday performances occur at 2pm.
