Park Square Theatre Announces Casting for Ragtime

Park Square Theatre has announced casting for their production of Ragtime, to be presented January 20-February 19.

Based on the novel by E. L Doctorow, Ragtime weaves a spellbinding story of a white family living the privileged life in New Rochelle, a disillusioned Jewish immigrant bent on achieving success, and a handsome young black piano man courting the woman he loves, whose lives collide against the backdrop of New York in “the American Century.”

The cast will include Harry Waters Jr. as Coalhouse Walker Jr., Dieter Bierbrauer as Tateh, Christina Baldwin as Mother, Brittany Bradford as Sarah, and Lee Mark Nelson as Father. The cast will also include Noah Coon, Aleks Knezevich, Fred Mackaman, Megan Fischer, Kersten Rodau, Caroline Innerbichler, John Hegge, Sasha Andreev, Shawn Hamilton, and Jay Hornbacher.

The ensemble will be comprised of Traci Allen, Dan Beckmann, Adara Bryan, Paul R. Coate, Robert C. Droddy, Ben Goodlund, James Grigsby, Suzie Juul, Timotha Lanae, Celena Morgan, Brittany Parker, Suzanne Reyburn, Whitney Rhodes, James Rodriguez, John Rynders, Carl Schoenborn, Andrea Shoals, Emily Rose Skinner, Joshua Walker, and Jamaka Young.

Under the direction of Gary Gisselman and musical direction of Denise Prosek, the design team will include Michael Matthew Ferrell (choreographer), Rick Polenek (scenic designer), Andrea M. Gross (costume designer), Michael P. Kittel (lighting designer), Kirby Moore (properties designer), and Thomas Sandelands (sound designer).
