The Dragons Are Singing Tonight to Play Southern Theater

TigerLion Arts will present the new musical The Dragons Are Singing Tonight, at the Southern Theater, January 26-February 12, 2012. Laurie MacGregor will compose, with direction by Markell Kiefer.

The Dragons Are Singing Tonight is based on the beloved book of dragon poems by United States Children’s Poet Laureate Jack Prelutsky. 30 singing boys from the Minnesota Boychoir, two aerialists from Circus Juventas, 12 musicians and countless puppets will help the create the wonderful world of dragons.

The production will extend to the community with a Dragons Art and Music Residency Program aimed to benefit children through the shared experience of singing, storytelling, and creating art.
