American Idol‘s Anthony Federov to Star in Ordway Music Theater’s Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

American Idol finalist Anthony Federov will star in the title role of the Ordway Music Theater’s production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, December 7-January 2.

The musical is based on the Biblical story of Joseph, his jealous brothers and one very colorful garment. The Ordway’s production will include 40 Twin Cities-area school children.

Federov, who appeared on the fourth season of the popular FOX-TV reality show, has previously played Joseph in productions of this musical at Boston’s North Shore Music Theater, Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theater, and the Lyric Theater of Oklahoma. Additional theater credits include the Off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks.
