Torch Theatre to Stage Les Liaisons Dangereuses in January

The Torch Theatre Company will stage a production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses at the Theatre Garage in Minneapolis, according to a report in The Minneapolis Star Tribune. The production will run January 13-February 4, 2011 at the Theatre Garage in Minneapolis. Craig Johnson will direct.

Les Liaisons Dangereuses, is written by Christopher Hampton and adapted from the novel of the same name by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. The play focuses on the Marquise de Merteuil and the Vicomte de Valmont, rivals who use sex as their weapon of choice against the women they’re planning to ensnare.

The cast will include Linda Kelsey, John Middleton, Katharine Moeller, Mo Perry, and Stacia Rice.
