Maloney and Yoakam to Star in Blackbird

Full cast and creative team have been announced for the Pillsbury House Theatre’s production of David Harrower’s Blackbird at the Guthrie Theater’s Dowling Studio. Stephen DiMenna is to direct.

The 2007 Laurence Olivier Award winner for Best Play, Blackbird is the story of two people damaged by an illicit past love. The cast features Tracey Maloney and Stephen Yoakam. Blackbird marks the first time Pillsbury House Theatre will perform in the Dowling Studio.

The design team for Blackbird includes Joseph Stanley (set), Michael Wangen (lighting), C. Andrew Mayer (sound) and Heidi Hunter Batz (costumes).
