The partnership will provide a new home for the popular filmed-theater series NT Live, an initiative by the UK's National Theatre to broadcast high-definition performances of its plays to venues worldwide, as well as films selected and curated by the Film Society and inspired by the Guthrie's upcoming 2012-2013 season.

All films in the partnership will be screened at the Film Society's St. Anthony Main Theatre, located at 115 SE Main Street in Minneapolis.
