Kacie Riddle Sings at RNC lunch, Full Cast Set for Spark 24 Showcase

Casting has been set for the Spark 24 Showcase at Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, August 30, in Peavey Plaza. Raymond Berg will provide musical direction and arrangements for the evening.

Germain Brooks, Randy Schmelling, Jill Mikelson, and Lisa Pallen will perform various songs for the concert, which will start at 9 pm. Spark 24 will run August 30-31, including performances by the Minnesota Opera, Fuego Flamengo, Zenon Dance Company, The Alarmists, Cloud Cult, Chris Koza, White Light Riot, Lucy Michell & The Velvet Lapelles, The New Congress, James Grear & Company, Ten65, One Voice Mixed Chorus, Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus, and others.

In related news, Kacie Riddle will sing two patriotic songs, including one from a recent performance of Yankee Doodle, at the RNC luncheon to be held at the Ordway Center, September 1. More than 600 attendees including First Lady Laura Bush, Jeb Bush, Marilyn Carlson and Mary Pawlenty will be present and possibly speaking at the luncheon.
