Peter Michael Goetz to Star in Guthrie’s A Christmas Carol

Peter Michael Goetz will once again play Ebenezer Scrooge in the Guthrie Theatre’s production of A Christmas Carol, November 19-December 31, which will be presented this year in a new 90-minute adaptation by Barbara Field. The production will be directed by Gary Gissleman. No additional casting has been announced.

Goetz has played the role of Scrooge nine times and is currently starring in the Guthrie’s production of When We Are Married.

The creative team includes Neil Patel (sets), Jess Goldstein and David Kay Mickelsen (costumes), Marcus Dilliard (lighting), Scott W. Edwards (sound), Victor Zupanc (music composition), and Anita Ruth (musical direction).
