The selections for the event are chosen by lottery. Among the winners this year are Theatre Undeclared which will present Grind: The Musical, before a scheduled appearance at the Chicago Fringe Festival, as well as Stages Theatre Company's You Are Not Paris, Jeremiah Liend Productions' Grimaldi's Chicken, Moving Arts Ensemble's The Stone House, and Mad Munchkin Productions' Angels in South America (Cooking with Antigone).

Other companies scheduled to participate in the Festival are Steppingstone Theatre, Shantz Theatre, Top Hat Theatre, Maddak Productions, Pacofun Productions, LAB Theater, Mu Performing Arts, and The New Theatre Group.
