Broadway’s T.R. Knight to Return to the Guthrie in BEHOLD: A Gala Performance

The former Grey’s Anatomy actor first appeared on the Guthrie stage at the age of five.

Broadway and Grey’s Anatomy veteran T.R. Knight, who first appeared on the stage of the Guthrie Theater at the age of five, will return to the company to celebrate its 50th anniversary on June 22 with an appearance in BEHOLD: A Gala Performance.

BEHOLD: A Gala Performance will he cohosted by Greta Oglesby (A Raisin in the Sun) and Sally Wingert (La Bête) and will feature Tony Award nominee Tracie Bennett (End of the Rainbow) and an original composition by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown. Peter Flynn will direct.

T.R. Knight’s many stage credits include A Life in the Theatre, Parade, Noises Off, and Boy. He played the role of George O’Malley on ABC’s hit Grey’s Anatomy. He also currently appears on The Good Wife.

The Guthrie Theater was founded by Sir Tyrone Guthrie in 1963. The Tony Award-winning company, which has an annual attendance of nearly 500,000 people, is dedicated to producing the great works of dramatic literature, developing the work of contemporary playwrights, and cultivating the next generation of theater artists.
