David Hyde Pierce to Appear in Conversation at Guthrie Theatre March 13

Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor David Hyde Pierce will appear in conversation with Guthrie Theater director Joe Dowling at the theatre’s Wurtele Thrust Stage on Sunday, March 13 at 7pm.

Pierce won a Tony Award for his performance in Curtains, with other Broadway credits including La Bete, Beyond Therapy, Accent on Youth, The Heidi Choronicles, and Monty Python’s Spamalot. He is best known for his Emmy Award-winning work as Niles Crane on Frasier.

He was a member of the Guthrie Theater acting company from 1983 to 1986, appearing in The Seagull, Tartuffe, Cyrano de Bergerac, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Candida, and Execution of Justice.
