Miss America 2008 Kirsten Haglund will perform a number at the June 1 performance of Sister Amnesia's Country Western Nunsense Jamboree, presented by Meadow Brook Theatre. A fundraiser will follow.

The production, directed by its creator, stars Cindy Williams as Reverend Mother Mary Regina. The cast also includes Bambi Jones (Sister Mary Hubert), Mary Robin Roth (Sister Robert Anne), Stephanie Wahl (Sister Mary Leo), and Alexandra Kaprielian (Sister Mary Amnesia).

The design team includes Barry Axtell (set design), Reid G. Johnson (lighting design) and Mike Duncan (sound design).

Williams' stage credits include The Drowsy Chaperone, Grease, Moon Over Buffalo, and Deathtrap. She is best known for her starring role on the hit ABC sitcom Laverne & Shirley. Her other film and television credits include Travels with My Aunt, The Conversation, and Girlfriends.
