Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre proudly presents the first staged reading of locally written South Beach, The Musical. With book, music and lyrics by South Florida's Robert Bidney and Stuart Dornfield and direction by Artistic Director David Arisco. South Beach, The Musical is a family's tale of love, survival and renovation, brought to life amidst the sights, sounds and cultural backdrop that is Ocean Drive. From thirty-something men and women dealing with professional (and emotional) crossroads, to the joys of gay love, to real estate developers with a penchant for women, alcohol and sex, South Beach, The Musical highlights the personality and memorable characters of South Beach yet brings to life universal and timeless themes that are relevant to everyone…everywhere!
