WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
This is the brutal and shattering truth of an unconventional love affair. A young woman arrives unannounced at the office of a much older man. Guilt, anger and raw emotions run high as they recollect the passionate relationship they shared 15 years earlier - when she was only 12. Blackbird is the winner of the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Play in London.
