NEWSical (Nominated for 2 Drama Desk Awards: Best Revue and Best Lyrics) is a throwback to the kind of political satire on stage that was once as prevalent as it is in film and television today. Heralded as "The Ever-Changing New Topical Musical Comedy," NEWSical plucks its material from the wealth of current events (The Runaway Bride, Hillary Clinton, GITMO, George W) and constant headliners (Michael Jackson, Martha Stewart, Babs, Liza, and well, George W.). The evolving work features updated songs and material that changes with the news.
