WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Zion Inc. presents a gripping thriller chronicling the lives of an inner city crew trying to realize their dreams to "make it big" and escape the ghosts of their pasts. The leader of the crew wants out, but nothing and no one are what they seem, in this inventive play filled with twists and turns. Based on a true story, this compelling stage play written by Charles McIntosh gives a gritty peek into the triumphs and pitfalls of life on the streets.
McIntosh, who also serves as director and producer of Making It Big, has experienced the troubled lifestyle of a gangster. McIntosh, in 2001 was shot thirteen times by three assailants who ambushed him getting out of his car. McIntosh lost both of his legs, was in a coma for two months, and his best friend was murdered. Since then McIntosh has vowed to use the story of his troubled life to help others, and that vow inspired the writing of the stage play, Making It Big.
The show features a full menu of entertainment with featured singers and veteran actors including: Lisa McIntosh (Jackie) "Homicide", Barry Bradford (Father) "The Wire," "Law&Order," and"ForLove of the Game" and Steven Strickland (Chuck) "Purlie," "Lookin For Love In All The Wrong Places" to name a few.

RE:Makin It Big
This show is really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had my full attention wondering what would happen next. Based on the real life of the writer, it is a story that needs to be told so as to reach our young people who think that street life is the only way to make it big. I applaud this young man for his honesty and truth and for trying to impact the thinking of young people. I think it will definitely be a big hit as it continues. I pray GOD blessings as the play goes forward to reach our young men and women.
