Elrod, O’Malley, Payton-Wright, et al. Set for Arsenic & Old Lace

Full casting and creative team have been announced for Baltimore CENTERSTAGE’s production of Joseph Kesselring’s Aresenic & Old Lace, to run September 14-October 14. The production, to be directed by Irene Lewis, will open officially on for September 19.


In Kesselring’s classic play, elderly sisters Abigail and Martha Brewster have a secret mission and a recipe for elderberry wine that really packs a punch. Meanwhile, their nephew Mortimer tries to avoid the family insanity.


The cast will include John Ahlin (Teddy Brewster), Craig Bockhorn (Lieutenant Rooney), John Campion (Jonathan Brewster), Ralph Cosham (Mr. Gibbs/Mr. Witherspoon), Carson Elrod (Dr. Einstein), Tana Hicken (Martha Brewster), Ian Kahn (Mortimer Brewster), Lou Liberatore (Officer O’Hara), Brynn O’Malley (Elaine Harper), Pamela Payton-Wright (Abby Brewster), Stephen F. Schmidt (Reverend Harper), and William Zielinski (Officer Klein).
The design team will include Tony Straiges (sets), Wade Laboissonniere (costumes),
Jeff Nellis (lighting), and Ryan Rumery (sound).
