Tyler Hanes, Alessa Neeck, Patrick Ryan Sullivan Set for Maine State Music Theatre’s 42nd Street

Maine State Music Theatre is set to present 42nd Street, August 8-25 at the Pickard Theater. Charles Repole will direct, with musical direction by Jason Wetzel and choreography by Michael Lichtefeld.

Based on the novel by Bradford Ropes, 42nd Street takes place at the height of the great depression when Peggy Sawyer, fresh off the bus from Allentown, PA, is cast by director Julian Marsh in his musical extravaganza.

The cast will feature Broadway veterans Alessa Neeck (Peggy Sawyer), Patrick Ryan Sullivan (Julian Marsh), and Tyler Hanes (Billy Lawlor), as well as Karen K. Edissi (Dorothy Brock), Charis Leos (Maggie Jones), Courtney Romano (Lorraine Flemming), Mara Newbery (Anytime Annie), Marjorie Failoni (Phyllis Dale), Zak Edwards (Oscar), Raymond Marc Dumont (Andy Lee), Glenn Anderson (Abner Dillon), Chuck Ragsdale (Mac), and Gregg Goodbrod (Pat Denning). The ensemble will include Matthew Warner Kiernan, Taylor Anderson, Matthew Begin, Blair Best, Michaela K. Boissonneault, Jeffery Heimbrock, Andrew Metzgar, Allie Pizzo, Jonalyn Saxer, Jordan Weagraff, Zachariah F. Williams, and Emmeline Wood.
