WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Three African American women claim their freedom amidst the arroyos of New Mexico in Maisha Baton's play. The trio regale each other with stories of fabled love for the Spanish conqueror Esteban and riding incognito with the famed Buffalo Soldiers cavalry.
This free staged reading is part of Lorna Littleway's Juneteenth Festival of New Plays hosted by The Actors Theatre of Louisville.
