The West Coast premiere of British farce-master Ray Cooney's latest comedy hit, co-written with his son, Hollywood screenwriter Michael Cooney. Tom and Linda are adopting a baby. It's the happiest day of their lives - or it would have been if Tom's brothers, Dick and Harry, hadn't decided to help. The result of Dick and Harry's "assistance" produces two illegal immigrants, a dead body, a vanload of contraband cigarettes and a Russian mobster. When the social worker from the adoption agency and the police constable arrive, Tom's ingenuity is stretched to the limit, and the lies (and laughs) pile up. But things couldn't get worse. Or could they?
