Synopsis

It has been 58 years since the story of Anna Leonowens and the King of Siam first graced the Broadway stage, and the beauty of this richly textured tale is as uplifting today as it was then. The dazzling score include favorites: 'I Whistle a Happy Tune,' 'Hello,' 'Young Lovers,' 'Getting To Know You,' 'I Have Dreamed' and 'Shall We Dance?' Music by Richard Rodgers. Book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, based on Anna and the King of Siam. By Margaret Landon.
