WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Constant Wife by W. Somerset Maugham is a sophisticated play based on the idea that so long as a wife is supported by her husband it is up to her to be faithful to him, but if the husband is not faithful to her and if she supports herself she is entitled to lead her own life in her own way.
