Los Angeles Opera presents Walter Braunfels' The Birds (Die Vögel). James Conlon conducts, with direction by Darko Tresnjak.
The production is part of L.A. Opera's "Recovered Voices" series, dedicated to rediscovering composers suppressed by the Third Reich. The Birds is freely adapted from Aristophanes' ancient Greek comedy.
