WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Miss Coco Peru is an award-winning aristocrat among Los Angeles performance artists. In honor of the 10th anniversary of Coco's move out West, the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center is proud to present Retro Coco, a retrospective of all three of the celebrated hit solo plays written especially for the Renberg Theatre:
Glorious Wounds...she's damaged (2001, GLAAD Award nominee); Miss Coco Peru Is Undaunted (2003, GLAAD Award winner, Ovation Award nominee) and 2007's critically acclaimed Ugly Coco. The plays will be presented in serial repertory over the first three weekends in May:
