David Nathan Schwartz's medical mystery tour de force, My Brain Tumor: A Mind Expanding Comedy, recreates his experiences with the maze of medicine, a potentially deadly operation, losing his voice and finally reclaiming it through yet another medical procedure.

The show was originally produced and performed at the Century City Playhouse, earning an LA Weekly Theatre Pick of the Week (citing "...Witty writing and a brilliant performance") and other critical kudos for acting, writing and direction. Subsequent productions were mounted at HBO Playhouse, Pacific Resident Theatre, the Actors Workout Space, Two Roads Theatre, Fremont Centre Theatre and Theater of Note. More recently, Schwartz has performed the show as a part of Women's Health Week at the Medical School of the University Of Pennsylvania and as part of the ARTS in Correction Program at Lancaster, California maximum security prison.
