Featuring an all-male cast of four, Mommie Queerest tells the now-famous story of movie star Joan Crawford and her tumultuous relationship with adopted daughter Christina. But what if all those years Joan was really a man? And not just any man in drag, but the true Queen of Hollywood. For years she fooled the studio, her fans, her kids, and the world. That is until Christina finds out, plots her revenge, and publishes a scathing tell-all entitled "Daddy Dearest." Even then, it's Joan who has the last laugh. That's the premise of this play that features four actors playing 25 characters in 32 fast-paced scenes, all in the span of just 90 minutes.
