The award-winning Irish playwright's drama about what it means to see is re-envisioned in a new Los Angeles production.

Drawing from Oliver Sack's case history entitled, "To See and Not See," Molly Sweeney by Brian Friel examines the difference between seeing and understanding. Although considered one of Friel's best plays, Molly Sweeney is seldom produced. The cast includes three veterans of the Los Angeles theatre scene. Melina Bielefelt, in the title role, will be joined by Matthew McCallum as her husband, Frank, and John Ross Clark as her doctor, Mr. Rice. Randee Trabitz directs.
