Synopsis

A recovering empty-nester after "her-kids-went-off-to-college-and-her-husband-flew-the-coop," Ginger Peechee-Keane, (Mariann Aalda) and her younger, but more worldly, "never-been-married-but-been-kissed-by quite-a-lot-of-men," sister, Sonia Peechee, (Iona Morris) have had very different life experiences. Now at mid-life, they have enthusiastically joined forces to become the "Tony Robbinses" of mature sexuality by creating the Multiple Orgasm Initiative for Sexual Transformation (M.O.I.S.T.). Billed by Aalda & Morris, also the show's writer-creators, as a sex-istential comedy, M.O.I.S.T.! is a lyrical, comical, musical, frequently literal, sometimes philosophical -- and at one point, even hysterical -- encouragement to women-in-their-prime to take responsibility for their own sexual fulfillment...and an encouragement to men on how they might be of assistance!

"The humor is inventive and smart...but there are moments in this work that are so exquisitely poetic they approach Shavian beauty...Smart social commentary mixed with deeply personal introspection thus rebukes our youth-obsessed culture, reminding the true connoisseur of sensuality that experience and virtuosity will always trump taut skin and gravitational fortitude."
- Trevor Thomas, EDGE Southwest Editor 12/06/09
