WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Listen Closely is a true-story/show business saga. But a number of things set it apart from all other shows in the genre. For one thing, it's a musical, with over a dozen songs. For another, its protagonist has had a substantial career for over two decades, with nearly 70 television and film credits, and is still busily working. And her backstory has enough sex and scandal to make a dozen tabloid editors salivate.
