La Puta Vida (This Bitch Of A Life) consists of three one acts dealing with love, trust, and friendship in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. In "South of Tomorrow", a one-eyed African American Vietnam Vet junkie encounters a Latino teenager who wishes to give him something. It ain't money! In "Nijinsky Choked his Chicken", a young teenage boy is discovering the pleasures of self stimulation when something goes wrong and he asks for help from the only guy he knows. That happens to be a street guy named Chino that he has only seen and admired from his apartment's window. What happens next? In "Poppa Dio", a 28 year old son and his ex-stripper mother lock horns over her son's spending of his money on his girlfriends instead of her. Even though they argue, they love each other so much that they go to extremes to help ease each others pain in the ultimate act of love.
