Dupe was inspired by the story of Georgia Graves, a Southern Californian who danced in the Folies Bergere in the 1920s and became the model for the world's most famous fashion photograph. In Dupe, set in modern Los Angeles, collector Leonard Mist uses that priceless photograph in his romantic pursuit of Carol Fitch, a fabled rock star, who may be an imposter pursuing him in order to obtain the image. Art and artifice collide in this mesmerizing production.
