VS. Theatre Company, producers of last year's critically-acclaimed hit, On An Average Day, kicks off its sixth anniversary season with Blackbird by Pulitzer-Prize nominated playwright, Adam Rapp.

Blackbird is a fearless love story about two people who desperately cling to each other to escape the harsh reality of their lives. Baylis, a disabled veteran of the first Gulf War lives with Froggy, a young ex-stripper with a heroin addiction, in their squalid New York City apartment. It is Christmas Eve, a magical time in the late nineteen-nineties, and as everything around them collapses, Froggy and Baylis remain bound by their mutual passion and hope of finding a way out of the darkness.
