Synopsis

Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's bold, surreal and darkly humorous Tony award-winning musical Assassins is Sondheim at his twisted best -- a musical exploration of nine individuals who assassinated or attempted to assassinate the President of the United States. From John Wilkes Booth to Lee Harvey Oswald, this controversial and ultimately American musical takes us on a roller coaster ride in which one man's American dream becomes a nation's nightmare.
