Frenchie Davis, Von Smith, Ty Taylor Set for Upright Cabaret’s January 15 Mighty Mississipi Concert

Broadway veteran and American Idol alum Frenchie Davis will perform in Upright Cabaret’s American Icon Series concert, Mighty Mississippi, at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza on Saturday, January 15 at 7:30pm.
She will be joined by fellow Idol vet eranVon Smith and Broadway veteran Ty Taylor to sing the songs of Louis Armstrong, Elvis Presley and Prince!
Davis is perhaps best known for her appearances during season six of American Idol. Her stage credits include Rent on Broadway, the West Coast tour of Dreamgirls, and the national tour of Ain’t Misbehavin’, with fellow Idol alum, Ruben Studdard. She recently wrapped up a run as the Fairy Godmother in the Berkeley Playhouse’s production of Cinderella (Enchanted Edition).
