Julia Cho's The Language Archive has been added to South Coast Repertory's 2009-2010 season. Mark Brokaw will direct the production, to run March 26 - April 25.

The drama concerns a linguist who runs up against the limitations of his chosen milieu, words, when he needs them most as his marriage unravels. Casting and the creative team will be announced at a later date.

Cho's 2007 drama, The Piano Teacher, premiered at South Coast. Her other plays include Durango, 99 Histories, BFE, and The Architecture of Loss.
