Megan McGinnis will star as Jerusha and Robert Adelman Hancock will play Jervis Pendleton in the world premiere of the musical Daddy Long Legs at the Rubicon Theatre, October 14-November 8. The production, which will open officially on October 17, will be directed by Tony Award winner John Caird.

Featuring a book by Caird, with music and lyrics by Paul Gordon, the show is based on the novel by Jean Webster. Set in turn-of-the-century New England, it is the story of Jerusha Abbott, a talented orphan sent to a prestigious college by an anonymous benefactor she whimsically dubs "Daddy Long Legs."

The creative team will include Laura Berquist (musical director), David Farley (sets and costumes), Paul Toben (lighting), and Jonathan Burke (sound).

This is a co-production with TheatreWorks, which as previously announced will present the musical at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, January 20-February 14, as well as Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, where the show will play March 13-April 10.
