Casting information has been announced for A Noise Within's Oliver Twist, Neil Bartlett's theatrical treatment of Charles Dickens' classic story set to run November 1-December 14 with an official opening on November 8. Julia Rodriguez-Elliott will direct.
Bartlett's adaptation stresses the actor-driven drama of the piece by casting all the roles with adults, and marking shifts of tone with music, actor-driven soundscapes, and a cappella singing.
The cast will feature Shaun Anthony as the Artful Dodger, Jessica Berman as Rose, Brian Dare as Oliver Twist, Apollo Dukakis as Bumble, Geoff Elliott as Bill Sikes, Tom Fitzpatrick as Fagin, and Jill Hill as Nancy. The ensemble will include Robertson Dean, William Dennis Hunt, Christina Ishizaki, Stephen Rockwell, Koko Sandmeyer, Aurea Tomeski, Anne Troup, and Tim Venable.
