Dale Dickey, Aaron Himmelstein, Michael Welch, and Mae Whitman will star in The Blank Theatre Company's production of Stephen Karam's Speech & Debate, to be directed by Daniel Henning, which will run September 13-October 26. The show is about three high school misfits whose lives intersect.

The company's season will continue with Allan Knee's The Jazz Age, January 30-March 8, and Mark Saltzman's Set Up and Punch to run April 24-May 31. The latter production, which will feature original songs by Berton Averre & Rob Meurer, will also be directed by Henning.

The 17th Annual Nationwide Young Playwrights Festival, June 4-28, will feature the 12 best plays chosen by a panel of theatre professionals. Winning writers are assigned a mentor and a director who guide their scripts to the stage for the month-long Festival.
