The full cast and creative team have been announced for This Beautiful City, at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, September 21-October 26, with an official opening at September 28. Written by Steven Cosson and Jim Lewis, with music and lyrics by Michael Friedman, the production will be directed by Cosson.

Commissioned and developed by The Civilians and New York's Vineyard Theatre (which will present the show in Spring 2009), This Beautiful City details the explosion of America's evangelical Christian movement in Colorado Springs at the base of Pike's Peak. The cast will feature Emily Ackerman, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Brad Heberlee, Brandon Miller, Stephen Plunkett, and Alison Weller.

The creative team will include John Carrafa (choreography), Erik James (music direction), Alix Hester (costume design), Neil Patel (set design), Jason H. Thompson (projection design), Ken Travis (sound design), and David Weiner (lighting design).
