The 10th Annual BET Awards were held in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 27 and hosted by Queen Latifah.

Fela! producer Jay-Z won an award for Best Collaboration for "Empire State of Mind" along with Alicia Keys; his wife Beyonce picked up an award with Lady Gaga for their video, Video Phone.

Ampmg the other winners weire Idris Elba,,Nicki Minaj, Drake, Mo'Nique, Trey Songs, Monica, Sapp, Keke Palmer, Rihanna, Young Money, and athletes Serena Williams and LeBron James.

Pop music legend Prince was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award; John Legend received the Humanitarian Award, and there was a tribute to the late Michael Jackson.
