Casting has been announced for the Road Theatre Company's upcoming reading of 1776 at the Lankershim Arts Center on Monday, June 28 at 8:00 pm. Darryl Johnson will direct.

A recreation of the two months it took to write the Declaration of Independence, this Sherman Edwards-Peter Stone musical explores the challenges of forging so many different voices into one nation.

The cast will feature Curt Bonnem, Richard Brewer, Joe Calarco, Avery Clyde, John Cragen, Eric Czuleger, Michael Dempsey, Paul Eiding, Dennis Gersten, Chris Goss, John Gowans, Don Grigware, Chet Grissom, Barry Jenner, Richard Johnson, Tom Knickerbocker, Carlos Larkin, Shaun O'Hagan, Frank Rada, Vince Tula, Jennings Turner, Bettina Zacar, and Bernie Zilinskas.
