Cameron Mathison and Sherri Shepherd will co-host the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, to be presented on Friday, June 20 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles and broadcast live on ABC, according to TVGuide.com.

Mathison appeared on stage in the World AIDS Day production of Pippin and is best known for his work as Ryan Lavery on ABC's All My Children. Shepherd, who became a co-host of the ABC talk show The View last year, was a frequent guest at Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words, which played its last performance earlier this month.

Theater veterans who were recognized with Emmy nomination for their work on daytime dramas include current August: Osage County star Brian Kerwin (One Life to Live), David Canary (All My Children), Van Hansis (As the World Turns), Tom Pelphrey (Guiding Light), and Heather Tom (The Bold and the Beautiful).

MTV's airing of Legally Blonde: The Musical received nominations for Outstanding Special Class Special, as well as a directing nomination in that category. Tony Award nominee John Tartaglia was nominated for Outstanding Performer in a Children's Series for Johnny and the Sprites. Eartha Kitt received a nomination for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program for Yzma as did Christopher Lloyd -- who recently appeared in the New York Philharmonic's staging of Camelot -- for PBS' Cyberchase.
