Cast, Creative Team Set for Light Up The Sky at Open Fist Theatre

By: Tristan Fuge · Jan 6, 2009  · Los Angeles

Cast and creative team information has been announced for Moss Hart's Light Up The Sky, set to play at the Open Fist Theatre with direction by Bjørn Johnson, January 10-March 7, with an official opening on January 16.

Hart's 1940's comedic tribute to New York theatre-folk is set at the Boston tryout of a new Broadway show where the lead actress, the backer, the director, and several others, are anticipating a tremendous success with an experimental work by a young unknown writer. The cast will feature Phillip William Brock, Benjamin Burdick, Colin Campbell, Laura Flanagan, Richard Michael Knolla, Kevin McCorkle, Barbara Schofield, Dominic Spillane, Andrea Syglowski, and Amanda Weier.

The creative team will include Peter Carlstedt (sound design), Ellen Monocroussos (lighting design), Victoria Profitt (set design), and A. Jeffrey Schoenberg (costume design).
