John Pyper-Ferguson writes and stars in Walter Wannamaker, Day at the Plate, vs. The Downtown Demons' Monster on the Mound. Walter, the batter, faces his arch nemesis, the Downton Demons' pitcher. A tense one-on-one prevails, but it's not just a battle of rivals. Pyper-Ferguson's play, a triumph of the human spirit, gives us the opportunity to listen to the hearts and minds of these two baseball warriors as they dare to dream. The show is sure to hit a home run with kids and grownups of all ages.
