WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A participatory storytelling show about change, growth, and destiny. Storyteller Johanna Middleton spotlights story-worthy moments that have informed the trajectory of her current life path while encouraging her audience to reflect on the pivotal points of change in their own lives. Stories include reflections on plumbing emergencies at work, boycotting Yelp, and the coming apocalypse. PG-13.
Johanna Middleton is a LA-based art maker and educator with a passion for telling black and woman stories, and creating spaces for women and people of color to share their own stories. She has appeared onstage, on the web, and in film and television, and is the founder of Girlie Stories, an organization that provides women and girls a platform to empower each other through personal storytelling.
