Originally written by Henry James, in the form of a journal kept by a governess who works on a lonely estate in England, The Turn of the Screw tells the story of a parson's daughter who becomes governess to two troubled children on an English country estate, where the ghosts of their former governess and her malevolent lover may be seeking to influence them. Her struggle to free the children from encroaching evil puts their safety and her very sanity at risk. Robert Bailey directs.
