WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Tradition has it that the oldest daughter must be married before the younger may wed. Sweet and mild Bianca is all set for her suitors except for one problem: her elder sister, the wild and independent Kate. This shrew is unmarriageable until the self-assured Petruchio rolls into town, vowing to marry her and tame her heart and ways. Tempers flare, personalities clash, and love finds a way to flourish in Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew.
